DODOMA, July 24 -- A TOTAL of 276 women in Kongwa District, Dodoma Region are set to benefit from a special vocational training programme designed to enhance their economic and entrepreneurial skills.

The programme has been designed to support President Samia Suluhu Hassans ongoing efforts to uplift underprivileged women across the country.

Kongwa District Commissioner, Mr Mayeka Simon, made the announcement during the official launch of the ‘Wanawake na Samia training programme held recently in the district. He commended the strong turnout and willingness of women in the district to acquire skills that would enable them to become self-reliant.
