Dar es Salaam, Feb. 11 -- DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) has been directed to expand modern services at Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) stations to better serve travelers and boost economic activity.

Transport Minister Professsor Makame Mbarawa issued the directive today, while inaugurating KFC SGR Station restaurant at the Dar es Salaam SGR station.

The arrival of the world-class restaurant at the hyper modern SGR Station assures travelers an opportunity to enjoy high-quality catering services from the internationally-recognized firm.

As of 2024, KFC had over 29,000 restaurants in more than 145 countries and territories. KFC is one of the most well-known quick service restaurant (QSR) brands in the world.
