Dar es Salaam, March 15 -- TANZANIA: The United States, in collaboration with Global Communities, has donated high-quality fortified rice, pinto beans, and sunflower seeds to over 300 schools in Tanzania.

This was revealed by the US Embassy in Tanzania through its X account on Friday, adding that the donations have been made through the US Department of Agriculture and come directly from American farmers.

Moreover, the embassy disclosed that they also plan to start school gardens at the schools, as well as teach students rainwater harvesting techniques.
