DAR ES SALAAM, June 23 -- THE University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has entered into a partnership with several Chinese companies aimed at enhancing collaboration in key sectors, including the transfer of modern construction technology.

 The partnership seeks to equip Tanzanian engineers with professional skills and strengthen their capacity in the construction industry.

Among the companies involved are Juye Concrete and KZJ Construction Enhancers, with the initiative coordinated through the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam.

The collaboration has been described as part of the ongoing economic diplomacy between Tanzania and China.
