DAR ES SALAAM, July 30 -- THE Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila, has called on both local and international businesspeople to seize the opportunity to trade at the newly completed Ubungo Trade and Transport Center(EACLC).

Speaking to the press today, July 30, 2025, ahead of the official launch scheduled for August 1, 2025, Chalamila emphasized that the center is a strategic investment aimed at enhancing tradenot at displacing local traders.

“This is a major step forward for Dar es Salaam and Tanzania as a whole. The center opens up a new world of business possibilities while safeguarding the interests of our local entrepreneurs,” he said.
