Dar es Salaam, Dec. 1 -- THE International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has promised to support the Tanzania Volleyball Associations (TAVA) efforts to develop the game in the country.

TAVA secretary general Laurent Safari who represented Tanzania in the annual congress of the Confederation of Africa Volleyball (CAVB) in Casablanca, Morocco revealed it in Dar es Salaam calling the support a massive boost.

While in Casablanca, Safari said he had an opportunity to exchange ideas with the President of the FIVB Ary Graca on how to effectively develop the game in Tanzania.

“It was a fruitful discussion, among the promises, Graca showed commitment to help Tanzania organise and run competitive volleyball games,” he said.
