KOSOVO, June 5 -- TANZANIA has called upon the international community to adopt robust strategies that ensure the meaningful inclusion of women in peace and security efforts, particularly in addressing conflicts fuelled by tribalism, racism, extremism and disputes over borders and natural resources.
The call was made on Monday by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Conference on Women, Peace and Security, held in Prishtina, Kosovo.
