DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 8 -- THE Tanzania Taekwondo Federation (TTF) will hold its elective general meeting today in Arusha, a key step toward shaping the future of the sport in the country.
According to TTF Secretary General Shija Shija, the election will take place at Njiro Complex, where delegates will elect new leaders to serve a four-year term. Aspiring candidates began collecting nomination forms last week.
“Unlike previous elections where contestants from both Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar could vie for leadership positions, this years election will involve only Mainland contestants,” said Shija.
