DAR ES SALAAM, May 28 -- THE national womens national team, Twiga Stars, are ramping up preparations for two vital friendlies against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for crucial fixtures on their path to the 2024 Africa Womens Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The double-header clash will see both fixtures hosted at the Azam Complex in Chamazi, Dar es Salaam, with the first match kicking off on Friday, May 30 and the return leg scheduled for June 3.
The matches are seen as a critical test of Twiga Stars current form and an opportunity to fine-tune strategies, assess tactical discipline and build up match fitness ahead of the prestigious continental tournament.
