DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 24 -- TANZANIA Trade Union Congress (TUCTA) has called on all workers across the country to turn out in large numbers on October 29 to cast their votes and elect leaders who will represent and lead them for the next five years.

The call was made by TUCTA President, Tumaini Peter Nyamhokya, during a press conference held in Arusha on Thursday, October 23, 2025. He said the purpose of the address was to encourage workers and remind them of the importance of participating in the upcoming General Election, urging them to show up in big numbers to elect leaders who will prioritize workers rights and welfare.
