DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 3 -- THE Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has informed taxpayers and the public at large that development of a new system for domestic revenue administration called the Integrated Domestic Revenue Administration System (IDRAS) has been accomplished and shall be put into effect from 9th February 2026.

According to a statement issued by the authority today, February 2 2026, as part of preparation for the use of the new system, TRA has organized a pre-launch system opening, which gives a chance for taxpayers to access some key features of the system and perform some preparatory activities.
