BUKOBA, Jan. 2 -- THE Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) in Kagera Region has collected 57.8bn/- in the first three months of the 2025/26 financial year, exceeding its target of 50.3bn/- and achieving 114 per cent of the goal.
Speaking recently, TRA Kagera Regional Manager, Mr Castro John, said the region targets to collect 211bn/- in the 2025/26 fiscal year from various sources, including businesses, investors and customs stations.
He noted that the 57.8bn/- collected between July and September, 2025 reflects strong performance and stakeholder cooperation.
