DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 5 -- THE TANZANIA  Revenue Authority (TRA) has emerged as the overall winner in the 2024 Best Presented Financial Statements Awards after taking first place in the Government Agency category at the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

The awards were presented by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) in Dar es Salaam.

The achievement places TRA at the forefront of public institutions, demonstrating strong financial discipline, adherence to international reporting standards, and transparent management of government resources.

This years competition attracted 86 public and private organisations submitting financial statements for the 2024 reporting year.
