Dar es Salaam, Feb. 24 -- KILIMANJARO: THE Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) in Kilimanjaro Region has collected 194bn/- between July 2024 and January 2025, surpassing its target of 149.5bn/- for the first half of the 2024/25 financial year.

TRA Kilimanjaro Regional Manager James Jilala announced the achievement during the Kilimanjaro Award Ceremony for Best Taxpayers, held in Moshi.

“Kilimanjaro Region was projected to collect 299bn/- for the 2024/25 financial year. With 194bn/- collected so far, we have reached 116 per cent of the mid-year target, putting us on track to exceed our annual goal,” he said.
