ARUSHA, July 8 -- THE Commissioner General of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), Mr. Yusuph Mwenda, praised the dedication and professionalism of TRA staff during the authoritys performance evaluation meeting today, July 8, 2025.

In a report read by the Finance Minister, Mwigulu Nchembam, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) collected 26.86tri/- , which is 91.3 percent of the annual target.

The amount is more than half of the total 45.07 tri/- in revenue Tanzania earned in the 2024/25 fiscal year.

The Annual TRA Performance Evaluation Meeting convened at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) was attended by several government officials, with Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa serving as the chief guest.
