BUKOBA, May 26 -- TANZANIA Revenue Authority (TRA) in Kagera region has urged traders to utilise official customs stations and ensure they pay the right taxes to enhance the nations economic development.
The authoritys regional manager, Mr Castro John equally appealed to owners of private vehicles with foreign plate numbers to register them at customs stations.
“Traders should be patriotic and ensure that they utilise official customs stations when importing and exporting goods. Paying the right taxes on time enhances economic development and enable the government to render the required social services in various sectors, including health, education, water and infrastructure.
