DAR ES SALAAM, July 27 -- THE Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) to establish a formal partnership aimed at integrating their systems and facilitating the sharing of essential information to enhance tax collection efforts.

Speaking during the signing of the five-year MoU on Friday, TRA Commissioner General Yusuph Mwenda said the agreement would improve decision-making accuracy, as a number of decisions like tax assessment determinations rely heavily on information.
