DODOMA, Oct. 17 -- THE Tanzania Peoples Defence Forces (TPDF) yesterday assured Tanzanians of continued peace, security and stability before, during and after the General Election.

In a statement issued by the Forces Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Colonel Bernard Mlunga, TPDF urged all political parties to continue upholding peace and stability throughout the campaign period, during voting and after the elections.

Col Mlunga said the TPDF was closely monitoring and assessing the security situation across the country ahead of the polls slated for October 28 and 29, 2025.
