DAR ES SALAAM, July 16 -- The Tanzania Peoples Defence Force (TPDF), through its Peace and Security Training Centre, has officially launched a special eight-week joint military training program in collaboration with elite forces from the United States.
The training aims to strengthen capacity in addressing emerging global security challenges.
Speaking at the official launch event in Dar es Salaam, the Commandant of the Training Centre, Major General George Itangare, stated that the program is part of the Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET), which brings together soldiers from both nations to exchange skills and improve the effectiveness of peacekeeping operations.
