Dar es Salaam, July 10 -- THE Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) has recorded a significant milestone in environmental conservation by successfully reducing over 100,000 tonnes of carbon emissions through the use of clean energy for cooking and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for vehicles.

This achievement earned TPDC a prestigious environmental award at the ongoing 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), Sabasaba fair, in recognition of the corporations contribution to environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
