Tanzania, May 18 -- A FEW years ago, life threw an unexpected and unfortunate incident that none of us saw coming. We lost a dear friend suddenly. One moment she was laughing, having coffee with friends at a restaurant, the next, she was gone, collapsing in the washroom.

The news hit us like a physical blow. She was vibrant, her future was bright, and her new business was taking off. It felt cruel, unfair.
