Dar es Salaam, March 13 -- The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, who is also the Chairperson of the Politics, Defense, and Security Organ of the Southern African Development Community (SADC-Organ), Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, participates in an emergence meeting of the Heads of State and Government of SADC alongside various leaders, at the State House in Chamwino, Dodoma, on March 13, 2025. The meeting, among other matters, is discussing the security situation in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
