MOROGORO, Nov. 19 -- TANZANIA Forest Services (TFS) has strengthened its leadership chain following the promotion of three of its staff to the level of Senior Assistant Commissioners by the Agencys Chief Executive Officer, Prof Dos Santos Silayo, in recognition of their contribution to the protection and supervision of forest resources in the country.

The promoted officers are Mr Mathew Ntilicha, who was Senior Conservator and Acting Eastern Zone Commander, Ms Getruda Nganyagwa, Senior Conservator and Acting Southern Highlands Zone Commander and Mr Emmanuel Laizer, Senior Conservator and Acting Chief Internal Auditor.
