DAR ES SALAAM, June 21 -- THE Temeke Municipal Council has approved a 70bn/- budget for the implementation of five major development projects, including the construction of multi-storey primary and secondary schools, three referral hospitals, and a new bus terminal in Mbagala.

These projects are set to be implemented in a two-year period.

Announcing the decision during the final council session, Temeke Mayor Abdallah Mtinika urged municipal staff to oversee the execution of the projects with professionalism and efficiency.

He also emphasized the need for unity among Temeke residents and cautioned against divisive behaviors, particularly as the country heads toward the 2025 General Elections.
