Dar es Salaam, Feb. 23 -- DODOMA: A comprehensive report disclosing what the country has gained so far in the extractive industry is expected to be published in June this year, the Tanzania Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (TEITI) has revealed.
The organisation is mandated to disclose payments and revenues from companies in the mining, oil and gas sectors to the government annually.
The announcement was made in Dodoma recently by TEITI Committee Chairperson, Mr Ludovick Utouh, in a speech read on his behalf by Acting Manager for Transparency and Accountability at TEITI, Mr Erick Ketagory, during a special seminar aimed at promoting the use of the watchdogs reports.
