Dar es Salaam, Jan. 30 -- DAR ES SALAAM: The Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) have signed a contract with the International Credit Rating Agency (ICRA) that will allow Tanzanian businesspeople to acquire loans from abroad.

The President of TCCIA, Vicent Minja made the statement when addressing journalists in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, adding that through the contract, businesses will be first evaluated for they are advanced loans.

Elaborating, he noted that the evaluation will determine who is worth getting the loan and who is not.

“If your business is worth getting the loan from the evaluation conducted, they will go further to see how much loan you can get,” TCCIA President stated.
