In the course, the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has implemented various initiatives to ensure safety and uphold international aviation standards, which have enhanced the countrys reputation as a preferred destination for airlines.

These efforts align with the Third National Five-Year Development Plan (FYDP III) 2021/22 – 2025/26, which prioritises the development and maintenance of airports as a means to boost transport infrastructure and competitiveness.
