DAR ES SALAAM, June 25 -- THE Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC), through its flagship conservation programme on the Tanzania Safari Channel, has renewed its commitment to environmental preservation and urged locals to protect nature.

TBC, Acting Director General Daphrosa Kimbory said yesterday at the launch of ‘Mimi ni Mhifadhi campaign that the responsibility to protect forests, natural resources and the wider environment lies with every citizen. “Environmental conservation is our shared responsibility,” Ms Kimbory said “TBC is playing its part as the national broadcaster”.
