TAWA registers 125 tourists at Kilwa Ruins
Dar es Salaam, Feb. 6 -- TANZANIA: The Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) has received a total of 125 tourists at the World Heritage Park of Kilwa Ruins on the island and Songo Tower.
According to TAWA, the recent visits of tourists to the various attraction sites in the country is due to President Samia Suluhu Hassans initiative-‘The Royal Tour that aims at promoting the tourism sector as well as increasing the countrys GDP through tourism.
Information released on Tuesday by TAWA stated that the first 102 batch of tourists arrived on the 3rd of February 2024.
