DAR ES SALAAM, July 29 -- The Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC) has today witnessed the official signing of operational agreements among six key institutions aimed at streamlining the coordination, storage, and transfer of cargo from Dar es Salaam Port to the Kwala Inland Container Depot (ICD).

The event took place at the Port Conference Hall in Dar es Salaam, marking a milestone in Tanzanias efforts to enhance port efficiency and decongest the commercial capital.

Speaking during the ceremony, TASAC Director General Mr. Mohammed Salum emphasized the importance of regulatory adherence, transparency, and institutional collaboration in developing foundational operational documents for the Kwala ICD.
