Dar es Salaam, April 24 -- DODOMA: THE Tanzanian government, through the Presidents Office – Planning and Investment, has until March this year, collected 664.53bn/-, representing 86 percent of the target for the period.

The initial target was to collect 768.58bn/-. This amount represents 60 percent of the annual revenue target.

The report was released today, April 24, 2025, by the Minister of the Presidents Office – Planning and Investment, Professor Kitila Mkumbo, while presenting the ministrys budget proposals to Parliament in Dodoma. Minister Mkumbo noted that a significant portion of the remaining revenue is expected to be collected during the fourth quarter of the 2024/2025 financial year.
