BUKOBA, Oct. 22 -- A surgical team, working together with specialists from the Regional Referral Hospital in Bukoba, Kagera region, has successfully performed a major operation to remove a tumor weighing seven kilograms from the reproductive organs of a 14-year-old girl.

According to the hospitals surgeon, Dr. Emmanuel Absalum Mwakasumi, the girl was admitted to the hospital suffering from abdominal pain, frequent constipation, and a persistent feeling of fullness even without eating. After conducting various tests, it was discovered that she had a tumor causing these health challenges.
