Dar es Salaam, April 3 -- TURKEY: TANZANIAS Ambassador to Turkey, Iddi Seif Bakari, has visited the countrys U17 Womens National Team, Serengeti Girls, which is currently participating in the UEFA Friendship Cup 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The team started the tournament with a 1-0 victory against Lebanon in their first match, played on March 31, 2025. Today, April 3, 2025, Serengeti Girls are set to play their second match against Jamaica.

This international friendly tournament features a total of eight teams from different countries, including Tanzania, Zambia, Turkey, Colombia, Thailand, Finland, Lebanon, and Jamaica. The competition is scheduled to conclude with the finals on April 10, 2025.
