DODOMA, Jan. 29 -- The Tanzanian government has pledged to ensure that every citizen eligible for a land title receives it promptly.

The Deputy Minister for Lands, Housing, and Human Settlements, Kaspar Mmuya, made the statement when speaking to the residents attending a Special Land Clinic at the Dodoma Regional Land Office and stressed the importance of the timely issuance of land titles, noting that some applicants have been waiting for extended periods.

Addressing citizens, the deputy minister said that he will personally ensure that every citizen with legitimate land ownership rights receives their title on time.
