BANGKOK, Nov. 22 -- TANZANIA Women were left to rue missed opportunities after falling just short in a tense encounter against Scotland Women during the ICC Womens Emerging Nations Trophy at Asian Institute of Technology Ground in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday.
Batting second, the Tanzanian side finished on 148 for eight, five runs shy of the 154-run target set by Scotland.
After winning the toss, Scotland opted to bat and posted a competitive total of 153 for five.
Tanzanias bowlers fought hard to keep the scoring in check, with Darcey Carter taking three important wickets and Rachel Slater and Chloe Abel chipping in with one each.
