BANGKOK, Nov. 20 -- THE womens national cricket team is set to embark on one of its most significant international assignments yet as it opens its 2025 ICC Womens Emerging Nations Trophy campaign against Namibia today in Bangkok, Thailand.

The tournament, which began on 18 November, runs until 1 December.

Tanzania Cricket Association (TCA) chairman Balakrishnan Sreekumar confirmed yesterday that the national side is fully prepared for the challenge, as they enter an eight-nation competition featuring some of the fastest-rising teams in the womens game.

According to the official fixtures, Tanzania will face Namibia, Scotland, the Netherlands, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Uganda and Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the group stage....
