DODOMA, Sept. 3 -- TANZANIA has been recognised as the top country in Africa for the effective execution of projects funded by the Global Agriculture and Food Security Programme (GAFSP).

The countrys Aflatoxin Control Project (TANIPAC), managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, won the 2025 award out of 13 projects implemented across the continent.

In the Ministry of Agriculture, Gerald Mweli, received the award on Monday. He commended TANIPAC officials for their outstanding performance, which enabled Tanzania to secure this recognition.
