Dar es Salaam, April 2 -- LUBUMBASHI, DRC: VISA fees for Tanzanian truck drivers entering the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will continue to be paid, despite the DRCs announcement to waive visa fees for Tanzanians entering the country.

Both parties have been urged to continue negotiations to find a solution to remove these fees.

This statement was made by the Director-General of the DRC Immigration Department, Roland Kashantwale, during a meeting with the Tanzanian Ambassador to DRC, Said Mshana, and the DRC Ambassador to Tanzania, Jean Pierre Masalla. The discussions aimed to clarify DRCs announcement regarding visa fees for Tanzanians.
