Dar es Salaam, April 9 -- DODOMA: TANZANIA is one of over 160 countries confirmed to participate in Expo 2025, scheduled to take place in Osaka, Japan, starting in April 12th this year.

The event will focus on trade, investment and tourism. Minister for Industry and Trade, Dr Selemani Jafo, briefed reporters in Dodoma yesterday, announcing that Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa will be the official guest during Tanzanias National Day on May 25th this year.

Expected to attract over 28.2 million visitors from around the globe, Expo 2025 will be held under the theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” Tanzanias participation will align with the sub-theme: “Connecting Lives.”
