DODOMA, June 3 -- TANZANIA has announced plans to establish 10 new factories for ARVs and other medical products.

It was revealed yesterday, June 2, 2025, here that the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with various stakeholders, will establish 10 new factories for the production of medicines and medical equipment in the country.

These factories will manufacture a range of products, including antiretroviral drugs (ARVs), intravenous fluids (drips), laboratory reagents, as well as tablets and liquid medicines.
