DODOMA, Nov. 14 -- THE President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, has said that the government is in the process of starting trials of the implementation of universal Health Insurance soon.

President Samia said this today, November 14, 2025, while addressing the 13th Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania in Dodoma.

“We are preparing to start trials of universal health insurance, the government will come to you, Honorable Members of Parliament, with proposals on how to make these trials successful,” said President Samia while urging members of Parliament to support these trials which will be the beginning of reforms in access to quality health services for all people in the country.
