MOROGORO, Jan. 23 -- THE Tanzanian government will continue to prioritize professional expertise, scientific advice, and research in the development of the livestock and fisheries sectors in the country,  the Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, Dr Bashiru Ally, announced today, January 23, 2026.

Dr Bashiru made the remarks during an official working visit to Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro Region. The visit forms part of the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries efforts to strengthen cooperation with academic and research institutions, including establishing partnership agreements between the ministry and the university.
