Dar es Salaam, April 10 -- LINDI: THE government has allocated over 100bn/- to improve the infrastructure of 10 durable and permanent bridges, along with three culverts, in Lindi Region.

This announcement was made today by the Minister for Works, Abdallah Ulega, during a visit by the Secretary of Ideology, Publicity, and Training for the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, Amos Makalla. The visit took place in Somanga Ward, Kilwa North Constituency, where Makalla inspected the Somanga-Mtama Bridge as part of his 10-day tour of the Lindi and Mtwara regions.
