DAR ES SALAAM, Dec. 5 -- THE Tanzania Tea Board has met with the Brown Plantation Company to discuss measures to strengthen and increase productivity in the countrys tea sector.

The meeting met two major leaders of the companies, the Director General of the Tanzania Tea Board, Beatrice Banzi and Director of Brown Plantation Company, Neill Goonetilleke.

During the discussions, Brown Plantation presented a strategic plan to expand the varieties of tea products produced, an initiative intended to reduce dependence on black tea alone.
