DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 13 -- THE Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Cosato Chumi, has received the credentials of the new World Health Organization (WHO) Representative to Tanzania, Dr. Alex Gasasira.

Speaking after receiving the credentials on behalf of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Hon. Chumi expressed Tanzanias appreciation to WHO for the strong collaboration between the organization and the Government of Tanzania, particularly in the health sector.

“Tanzania will continue to work closely with WHO to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, especially those related to the health and well-being of our citizens,” said Hon. Chumi.
