DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 9 -- TANZANIA, is set to host the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, who will arrive in the country to chair the CAF Executive Committee Meeting scheduled for February 13, 2026, in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam on February 9, 2026, the Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Paul Makonda, said preparations to receive the high-level delegation have been completed, with CAF officials expected to start arriving from February 10.

Makonda said the decision to hold the meeting in Dar es Salaam reflects the strong confidence Africa has in Tanzania, particularly in the sports sector and football development.
