DODOMA, June 28 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan commended the significant strides made by Tanzanias defense and security forces in maintaining peace, promoting national well-being, and ensuring public safety.

The President emphasized the governments continued commitment to equipping and modernizing security institutions across the country. She also called on the police force to intensify their efforts in addressing emerging challenges, particularly abductions and cases of missing persons.

One of the key areas of investment has been in the Tanzania Police Force, where the government has constructed 472 new police stations to improve access to law enforcement services across the country.
