DAR ES SALAAM, July 1 -- TANZANIA is making significant progress in strengthening carbon trading governance, through the establishment of clear regulatory frameworks, institutional coordination and stakeholder engagement.
State Minister in the Vice Presidents Office (Union and Environment), Mr Hamad Yussuf Masauni said such measures aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability and long-term sustainability in the carbon market.
Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, after receiving the Carbon Trading Performance Assessment Report from a government-appointed committee, Minister Masauni highlighted Tanzanias progress in strengthening carbon trading governance.
