DODOMA, Jan. 28 -- PUBLIC servants have been urged to stop using personal email accounts for government-related communications, as this practice has been identified as a source of leaks and loss of sensitive government information.
The warning was issued today, January 28, 2026, in Dodoma by the Minister of State, Presidents Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance, Ridhiwani Kikwete, during the launch of the Second Board of the e-Government Authority (e-GA).
Minister Kikwete said that using personal emails compromises the security of government information and weakens official communication systems.
