DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 16 -- THE Tanzanian government has launched a national campaign to promote domestic investment in a renewed bid to ensure more projects are owned by Tanzanians rather than foreigners.

The 60-day campaign is designed to educate Tanzanian citizens about the opportunities of investment sector found in Tanzania.

The announcement was made today, January 16, 2025, by the Minister of State, Presidents Office – Planning and Investment, Professor Kitila Mkumbo, during the official launch of the campaign. Minister Mkumbo urged Tanzanians who own land to invest in productive activities to generate income and contribute to the countrys economic growth.
